IMPLANTS

Sometimes in life, there are situations when dental implantation becomes the best, and sometimes the only way out. Dental implants will help you regain a beautiful smile and restore your ability to chew.

When is dental implantation necessary?

Dental implantation is necessary if:

you have lost one
or more teeth
you have no
extreme lateral teeth
teeth
you have lost
everal teeth
in a row
the entire dentition
is missing

Dental implantation can be performed at any age over 18 years. Since before this period, the bones of the face are not yet fully formed. After 18 years, there are no age restrictions for implantation.

Which dental implants are better?

Dental implants are often made of titanium. If the patient is allergic to this material, then zirconium implants are individually made for him. Both titanium and zirconium have high biocompatibility with the human body. But zirconium implants are about 2 times more expensive than titanium ones.
In our dentistry, we use titanium implants to ensure high quality and long life of dental implants.

How is a dental implant installed?

A dental implant is not only a metal pin that is implanted into the bone. The implant design consists of three parts: titanium screw, abutment, and crown. But in order to implant a dental implant into the bone, it is necessary to go through a number of preparatory processes:

1. Bone augmentation

If the tooth bone has parameters less than 6×10 mm, then it needs to be modified or increased, it all depends on your case. The cost of building dental tissue is indicated in the Prices section. If the bone has acceptable parameters, then, in this case, you can install a dental implant without bone augmentation.

2. Gum preparation

The gum protects the bone and implant from food and fluids, and also gives an aesthetic look to your smile. Therefore, it is important that it is well prepared. If your gum has a thickness of more than 3 mm and belongs to a thick biotype, then you will not need to prepare it. But if you have a thin gum type, then it will need to be redone so that the dental implant and bone are protected.

If these points are satisfactory, then the doctor proceeds directly to the installation of the implant. Depending on the above parameters, our implantologist will individually select the implant size and type of fixation for you.

The next step will be the implantation of the pin into the bone tissue, which will perform the root function. The abutment is mounted on top of the titanium pin. It is designed to connect the implant to the crown. In turn, the crown is the most important component for the patient, since it is the tooth crown that restores the aesthetic appearance.
